LNS participates in the EMO exhibition in Milan, the great return of the post-COVID events.
At the EMO show in Milan (04 to 09 October 2021), the Orvin-based LNS Group, world leader in the field of peripherals for machine tools (bar feeding systems, air filtration, coolant management and chip management), presented its range of peripherals, as well as its LNS Remote Support concept.
Given the uncertainties of the health situation, it was difficult to predict whether EMO Milano 2021 would be a success or not. This event was an opportunity to start a turning point in the way trade fairs are approached. For the LNS Group, the focus was on remote customer service and the presentation of the MyLNS portal, a new way to anchor the services in the digital era. Two units were also presented as world premieres: Chipblaster S-Series (coolant management system) and Quick Load Servo 105 (bar feeding system).
Since July 1st, 2021, more and more LNS customers have had access to the new MyLNS portal as beta testers. EMO Milano 2021 was the opportunity to accompany the European launch of this platform and to guarantee from now on a privileged and personalized access to information on LNS services and products. This digital tool allows customers to track orders, purchase selected spare parts, open service tickets, track invoices, access documentation related to LNS products, and much more. The MyLNS portal is based on the principle of continuous improvement and will evolve over time.

LNS REMOTE SUPPORT
Visitors to the LNS booth were able to experience digital customer service through HoloLense connected glasses, allowing them to connect digitally to LNS subsidiaries in Switzerland, UK, Germany, Italy and France. This mixed reality technology allowed LNS to present products that were not present inhe booth, and also to connect potential customers with the subsidiary in their country to have a first interaction with the person who will be their contact afterwards.
Building on the success of the Chipblaster integration, LNS continues its efforts by launching a new line of coolant management systems: Chipblaster S-Series.
Chipblaster S-Series (SBV) is a compact, high-pressure coolant system that has been specifically designed to be placed next to the bar feeder and save valuable floor space. It requires only coolant connections and a functional interface from the machine tool to operate. Chipblaster SBV is the perfect solution, combining easy mobility during installation and maintenance; and high durability with an entirely powder-coated body.
QUICK LOAD SERVO 105
The Quick Load Servo 105 is a continuation of the Quick Load Servo III, the undisputed standard for short bar work. This versatile, fully automatic short bar feeder offers maximum flexibility for small and medium-sized production runs in the diameter range from 6 to 105 mm. With its new compact and homogeneous design, its quick and easy roller change system and its new HMI interface, the Quick Load Servo 105 reaffirms itself as the optimal solution for short bar feeding.
The 6 consecutive days spent at EMO Milano 2021 were rich in experiences. This meeting place of the metalworking world brings together the main players in the market; it is the ideal opportunity to present new products to LNS Group customers in Europe, and also to establish discussions and partnerships that will allow future collaborations. In addition to the masks and sanitary protocols put in place, this event heralds a return to normalcy, coupled with the increasing use of digital tools.
